  • Organising surveys and drawings
  • Helping you to find suitable contractors & obtaining prices for the work
  • Applying for grants towards the cost of the work & helping you complete the paperwork
  • Organising the works & providing you with advice & support throughout the works
  • Signposting you to other sources of help, if needed.

Repairs and Improvements

Care & Repair can advise and assist with the repair or improvement of your home for:

  • Structural instability
  • Dampness
  • Rot/structural infestation
  • Defective electrical supply
  • Lack of thermal insulation
  • Inadequate foul/surface drainage
  • Inadequate water supply
  • Lack of toilet/basin, bath/shower
  • Inadequate light/ventilation.

Your property will be assessed by a Grants Officer from the Highland Council and their recommendations will form the basis of the package of works we can offer you.

Major Adaptations

Care & Repair can help with adaptations to your home to suit your needs:

  • Works to improve safety and access inside or outside the building
  • Works to improve personal care or health needs.
