Anti-Social Behaviour and Neighbour Disputes

Anti-social behaviour can mean different things to different people, however we recognise that behaviour which is merely different may not be anti-social.

The Ant-Social Behaviour etc. (Scotland) Act 2004 provides the following definition;

'A person engages in anti-social behaviour if they: act in a manner that causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress: or pursue a course of conduct that causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress to at least one person not of the same household as them'.

Lochaber Housing Association will do all it can to ensure that our tenants and residents are able to have quiet enjoyment of their homes. People who become tenants sign a Tenancy Agreement which includes behaving in a responsible manner.

Our information sheet gives a step by step guide on tackling anti-social behaviour.

If you feel you are suffering as a result of anti-social behaviour, please follow these simple steps and contact your Housing Officer.
