By registering for your electricity distributor’s Priority Services, they’ll be able to provide extra help if you have a power cut this winter.
An electricity distributor is different to your supplier or the company that charges you for electricity.
An electricity distributor, such as Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks or SP Energy, are the people who look after the electricity network – so if there’s a power cut, they’re the people who fix it.
