My LHA Self-Service Account

My LHA self-service account gives you access to a number of key tenant services 24/7. It is available via the LHA website login button, any web browser or the My LHA app on your mobile phone. You will use the same details wherever you sign in, whether that be on your computer, laptop, mobile phone or tablet.

The old portal, My Home will shortly be switched off, so if you have previously used My Home, for example to pay your rent, you will still need to register with My LHA.

What can My LHA be used for?

My LHA allows tenants to access their information 24/7 via the LHA website and App.

You can use My LHA to check and pay your balance and set up payment plans using the monthly budget planner.

You are able to easily report repairs with photos, check on the status of an existing repair and reschedule them if needed. You can even select the day and time best suited to you.

My LHA allows you to change your personal details, send us feedback and report complaints or any anti-social behaviour (ASB).

LHA is able to broadcast important messages through My LHA which will keep you updated with any changes to its service so you are always aware and prepared.

My LHA is managed in-house and there will be further services added in the future.

I am already registered for My Home, do I still need to register?

Yes, you will need to register for My LHA as it is a different account and My Home will be ending shortly. Registering is easy and by doing so you can manage your tenancy at the touch of a button.

I currently pay my rent in My Home, what do I need to do?

My Home is shortly being switched off, so you will need to register for My LHA from 5th May, so that you can continue paying your rent .

Do I need to download My LHA on my computer AND my mobile phone?

My LHA can be used on multiple devices such as your computer, tablet or mobile phone. The same information is used to log in.

On your computer, you will not have to download anything as My LHA will be available on a button at the top right of our website, whatever page you are visiting. Theres also a big login button on this webpage.

If you wish to use My LHA on your phone or tablet, you will need to download this as an App from either the App Store (for Apple devices) or from Google Play (for Android devices).

How you choose to use My LHA is down to personal preference. You may want to sit at a desk, or you may want to have the App so you can access it on the go.

Where can I find my tenancy number to register for My LHA?

You can find your tenancy number on your rent statement or any official letter sent by LHA. We will also need your surname, as it appears on your rent statement, your date of birth and the post code of the property. Please make sure to enter these details carefully as they need to match the ones we have on our system.

I am a joint LHA tenant - can I still register?

Yes you can. You have to be a primary or joint tenant to register for My LHA.

Can I register for My LHA on someone's behalf and manage their tenancy for them?

Please contact LHA if you wish to do this and we can discuss the options with you.

I need to cancel a repair appointment but My LHA won't let me. Why?

You can cancel an appointment in My LHA as long as it is not within 24 hours. If your appointment is within 24 hours then please contact us on 01397 703165

Are my details safe in My LHA?

Yes, LHA takes Data Protection very seriously and this extends to My LHA which safely stores your details. Only you and LHA have access to the information it holds.

What if I don't have a smartphone or don't want use My LHA?

That’s fine too. You can still contact LHA using your preferred method. My LHA is a way of making life easier for you but we understand that is may not suit everyone. If you are worried about registering, we will happily support you and provide a helping hand to you.

Registering is easy and all you will need to start with are:

  • Your tenancy reference number - this can be found on your rent statement
  • Your surname
  • Your date of birth
  • Your postcode
  • Your email address - make sure this is the one LHA has recorded for you
